Electrical rough in, Ducted vac, alarm & front woodwork installed

Hoping the superviser can rectify  some finishes we're not happy with!!!

      Drove past the house Saturday afternoon and found they had installed the gutters and fascia

Brickwork all finished, cant wait to see how they look after they have been cleaned.
The gutters & fascia have been delivered and should be installed next week along with the roof.

Not happy about the rubbish thrown over the construction fence

Brickies started yesterday and had first meeting with the SS.

Everything seems to be going well and working as planed.

Now watch someone come along and fuck it up.

Our frame was completed today & the roof trusses installed. Looking good!!!
Windows have been delivered and should be soon installed.

After the slab had a chance to cure, the site was handed back to us to build a retaining wall. Eventually the wall will run the full length down the side of the house but because of lack of room, the area where the water tanks are to be installed had to be completed before the build could progress.

             Pleasantly surprised to find the piering completed on Monday. We had an allowance of 70 lineal metres but it only came in at 38, so that will be a big saving. The slab preparation and waffle pods was completed on Thursday and the Slab poured today ( Saturday ).
             When the slab has set the site will be handed back to us to the address some retaining wall issues which I an not looking forward to. Oh well, knew it would have to be done sometime!!!

Drove past the block yesterday on my way home from work, and to my surprise the site had been cut and leveled. WOW!!! what a difference it makes being able to see how the house will sit after all these months.
 I got a call form our slab supervisor who said they had hit rock ( which we had expected ), But the variation only came in at $1584.00, So we were pretty happy with that. He said they will be starting the piering on Monday so hopefully that will go well too.

           

              The rock they hit is all sandstone which we plan to use around the yard  ( when we get time)

CONTRACT SIGNED!!!

Had second thoughts about the tiles we picked for the wet areas.

We made another appointment and are much happier with the results.

 Had to pay a fee for the change and a lot more to upgrade to porcelain

but feeling better that we did.
